The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS 2019) reports HVAC Jobs will increase twice as fast as the national average for all occupations. And unlike many other occupations, HVAC work cannot be outsourced or replaced by automated systems (e.g. computers/robots) because most of the work must be performed on-site on complex equipment that is too technical for most people to service and maintain on their own without professional assistance. Lastly, increasing demand for energy-efficient “green” systems provides continuous demand for the HVAC industry.
